Day Six!!

Ah, Day 6...there are only 10 minutes left in the day so why not post? Haha, better late than never as I always say. I'm watching old SNLs. Man, that Jesse Eisenberg is so funny.

Well, scrap-booking so cool. I bought a "Smash*book" where you can just glue things into the book and just make it your junk drawer to save all the little tidbits of paper that mean something to you. I highly recommend buying one.

That's all for now!

Day 5

Well, today was pretty eventful. My dad assumed command of an organization today which was pretty cool. I met a bunch of people and stuff. It was pretty swanky too.

Anyways, I'm super bored and there is nothing on tv...Social Network, here I come! I need an Andrew Garfield fix.

Oh hey, it's raining. Coooool... not.

Pottermore? (Day 4)

So....disappointed? Yes...no...YES!...No...wait...ugh, I don't know.

It crashes when you are supposed to "enter your email" for exclusive early access.

It is a "interactive reading experience" or a place where you can learn more about the Harry Potter books with new stuff, but that's irrelevant since no one can get on until October, really... Oh how I wish I worked for a magazine and got primo access anyways. *sigh* Oh Well...maybe next time... *song starts playing* NO!

In my recent Potterphilia attacks I have become more or less slightly kind of totally awesomely obsessed with A Very Potter Musical. It's so cool and totally awesome. Who knew that in the musical reality that Voldemort would be hot? I certainly didn't. Anyways, it's on Youtube, just watch the whole thing. It's an hour long and hilarious the whole way. Plus, Draco is played by a girl! Woohoo! Well, that and Darren Criss is our favorite lightning scarred wizard! But this time, Harry sings! And plays guitar which makes it awesome.

That's all for now!

Day 3!

Hey there, reader person.

Well, the Pottermore will be released in just a few short hours on J.K. Rowling's Youtube. I, for one, am anxiously awaiting the release of this wondrous new thing to hit the internet. Eeh! My inner nerd-girl is just taking over as July 15 inches near.

Grease is on ABC Family right now. A womp bam baloo mop a wamp bam boo! I think those are the words. Nevertheless, having greasers for friends would be pretty fly.

That's all for now,

Pottermore? (Day 2)

Hello? Hello? Pottermore!! I want to see you!

J.K. Rowling is making an announcement in a just a day or so about her new website "Pottermore"
Speculators say that it could be an online gaming site, some say it is a treasure hunt, some say that is a new story...I guess we'll find out soon enough.

That's all for now.

Woot! (Day 1)

SO. Here's my goal. I need to post a blog post everyday for a month. So on July 21st, my month of blog posts will be up. Count this as Day #1.

Day 1:
Well, I don't know about you, but I think the best way to start the Summer Solstice is to sleep in until 11:45am. Yay! Sleep! I'm excited because I have a friend on who is going to interview me for his "popular" note series on Facebook. I'll post the interview once it's posted. Hopefully, I don't sound like a complete idiot. I'm fine with partial...I think.

News:
Marilyn Monroe's dress sold for millions of dollars recently. The iconic white dress. Pretty amazing, right?

I really should post on here more often.

Oh hello there,
Yeah, yeah, yeah I know. I haven't been much of a "frequent" poster on this here blog. But dadgummit, I will now! It's convenient now that I have my own Macbook and iPhone, but whatever. Anyways, it is Summer Movie time again! Whoopee!

First in the line up we have: Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. (PG-13)
Is it strange that Johnny Depp is impossibly sexy and yet he is 48? Yes. Is it strange that Penelope Cruz was seriously preggers during the filming of this movie yet it wasn't the least bit noticeable? Yes. Is it strange that the mermaids aren't quite the sweet Ariel? Oh heck to the yes. Nonetheless, the movie was entertaining despite being without that wonderful Brit (Orlando Bloom). Yes, the plot was a bit lacking, but Geoffrey Rush and Johnny Depp saved the movie from being a disappointment.

2. Bridesmaids (R)
Okay, so I didn't see this movie but just from reading reviews you can see that Kristen Wiig is hilarious along with my personal favorite comedienne (next to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler) Maya Rudolph. What could be better than a movie about female fights, potty humor, drunk women, and a child taking a birth control pill. It has did surprisingly well for a comedy about bridesmaids. Possibly the female version of "The Hangover"? Maybe not that popular...

3. The Hangover 2 (R)
Alright, I didn't see this one either. I heard that the plot was far-fetched and a little weak. But then again, what comedy isn't? However, the general consensus was that the movie was funny, but not quite up to par. Sorry, guys, maybe a movie where a monkey is a scene-stealer isn't really what you need to succeed in Tinseltown.

4. Kung Fu Panda 2 (PG)
Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting! Those animators were fast as lightning! Seriously, I know that making an CGI movie takes awhile to make. A sequel of the very popular Kung Fu Panda where we first met the weak, yet comically strong Po. Gary Oldman made a likable, yet unlikable villain in peacock form. The movie was action-packed and fun for all ages. Skadoosh.

5. X-Men: First Class (PG-13)
Oh my gosh, AMAZING movie. Seriously. A great "prequel" to the X-Men series. Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy seriously delivered great characters with amazing depth. The plot was really strong and entertaining without being overly far-fetched. I loved this movie. I would see it again. Jennifer Lawrence, who played Raven/Mystique gave an wonderful performance and I can't wait to see her in The Hunger Games as the awesome Katniss Everdeen.

6. Mr. Popper's Penguins (PG)
Released just in time for Father's Day. Yay. Jim Carrey plays a father in this movie about a man who is burdened with a few penguins. It was based on the book that we all read for school in our younger years. I haven't seen it, but I'm sure it is loosely based on the book.

7. Super 8 (PG-13)
A SUPER movie! It was mint! Really, it was. A great movie set in an awesome time period to have a monster movie. The main character played by a complete nobody gave the film a great dynamic and such. Elle Fanning plays the cute little love interest. Although, she does have a surprisingly deep voice....not that that matters.

8. Aw darn this should've been for Super 8, anyways Green Lantern (PG-13)
Ah, Ryan Reynolds. He is so sexy. An interesting movie with a nice intro to what could be a series of movies...hopefully? Peter Saarsgard totally blew me away with his almost unrecognizable role as Hector Hammond, the antagonist of the movie.

9. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (PG-13)
I seriously cannot wait for this movie to come out JULY 15!! I've grown up with Harry and it's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since I've seen the very first movie in theaters. Anyways, go see it. It's gonna be the stuff of legends.

10. Cars 2
Wow! A sequel to a Pixar/Disney movie?!?!?! WOW DISNEY THIS IS TOTALLY UNEXPECTED! Oh wait, no it isn't. Considering they are going to milk all of their movies into franchises...I expect that this movie will be well-recieved by all ages. Hopefully? The first Cars movie wasn't as amazing as Toy Story was. But whatever. Do what you want, Disney. There are talks of a Finding Nemo sequel. Or should I say "Sea-quel". When will Nemo learn his lesson? Will Dory get lost this time? Will Ellen be back? I hope Nemo won't be a guppy anymore, it isn't natural for a fish to be that young for that long.

Anyways, that's the scoop on all of the new movies and some big movies to look out for.

In other news, school is out for everyone and it is SUMMER. Woot! Now it is go time for tans, pool time, theme parks, etc.

That's all for now,
this is Hannah signing off. ;)
